sva and fuel tank fillers/caps??

hi, got sva approaching fast and was wondering what the required is for fuel caps etc? can i just get away with fitting a cap direct to tank?

Can't see a problem with it but I suspect you'd still have to have the neck reducer for unleaded fuel.

Isn't the word something like "secure"? Most seem to interpret this as "won't fall off/come loose" rather than lockable.

When i had my sva 5 years ago the tester checked it had a lock on the cap thats why i put lockable

I passed at Gillingham a couple of weeks ago using this

i passed, with a fuel cap which is only screwed on, with out the chain, i got it form cbs, and he checked the seal and the nozzel size, as i brought a reducer from cbs, which is made to fit the petrol cap, you could not get any fuel nozzel in as it was to small.lol
