How can i prove pinto age? Ford tech centre no help
dan8400 - 18/2/09 at 02:01 PM

Afternoon everyone. I have all but finished my build. Contacted Paul Jepson yesterday to start paperwork. However, the engine is a sticking point. My V5 is from a K reg sierra but engine is from a C reg. (long story). I rang Ford tech centre and they couldn't help because i dont have the original chassis number. I have the engine number but no way of proving to the SVA man it is pre 95 for emissions. Any help/ideas/suggestins greatly appreciated.

I presented that at SVA and the examiner was happy to except it.

I took a copy of the Burton catalog
If its a Pinto the SVA guys are very familiar with the Burton/Ford engine age page.
