will the dvla notice/care if...

will they be bothered if I replace my SVA steering wheel before DVLA inspection?

I've got one in the post and I wanna fit it!

I would think No they won't be bothered.

They are only interested in numbers...

they probably wouldn't know the difference, but you might get some jobsworth doing the inspection... i'd wait til after, just in case

I removed all of my grilles after sva and before the dvla saw it.
All they wanted was my receipts, some design drawings and to read the actuall chassis and engine numbers off the car.

With my dvla inspection they were looking for chassis & engine number along with proof od newness of parts.

Its not a roadworthyness check.

i took off some of my SVA bits, added some post SVA mods, and decatted it before my DVLA inspection.. no worries at all. all he wanted to look at was the engine / chassis number, and my invoices
