Had my DVLA inspection yesterday (what a waszte of time that is!). Sat around for another hour after the 2 minute inspection waiting for the
paperwork. They never even asked to see my insurance, and only asked for one reciept!
Went for a blat when I got home, which felt great. It ended in the usual way of being towed home by the Mrs (my oil pressure light flashed for no
obvious reason). Still, I now have all the time in the world to fix it!
Well done that man.
Such a satisfying feeling ain't it (not the towing home though that's all part of the build it/ run it experience)?
From my 6 months on the road it's a bit like a painting - never finished and always needs just a bit more fine tuning.
Enjoy the summer.
Cheers, Pewe
Thanks Pewe. I am getting used to having a support vehicle to hand... Although I think she is getting fed up with it!
She sounds like a keeper to me! Glad to hear you got through all the testing and paperwork. Are you going to Newark with it?
It is probably too far to risk it at the moment. the furthest I have been without incident is about 6 miles!
Con grats mate glad you got it all sorted at the DVLA.
Get used to having the tow car on hand just wish my missus would do the same cos you know mines gunna blow 1 day
Sounds fun, so motivating to read these threads :p
Dont be too stupid :p
