all i can see in the manual is they have to be secure and not leaking. nothing about what they have to be made of or anything...

i have, in the garage, 6m or so, of cotton braided rubber fuel hose. god knows why i bought cotton braided and not stainless braided...

can i just tie wrap fuel hose to chassis rails? can i get rubber lined P clips from B&Q (or homebase... useless as they are) or anywhere like that?

ah, yeah its all proper fuel hose with all the markings.

as long as its marked up thats fine. Save an inch or so with the writing on as proof if it cant be read once its installed.

Dont cable tie them to the chassis rails (i considered this too) but chaffing is a real issue and IVA man will just tell you to go do one. Get p-clips of all sizes off ebay for sensible money.

They won't need to be insulated p-clips though will they? Just standard plastic jobbies?

i've got some p clips, but they're not big enough for the PVC tube i'm going to put some bits in

if you just want plastic ones, Maplin do nice big bags for nothing (+ vat).

Alternatively, Premier wiring on ebay are very quick if you want the mercedes quality ones.

plastic clips are fine,i had hard pipe through the tonnel and marked carb'd pipe to that,i did get those conetors but thay were crap,started to leek,so i pushed the hard 6mm pipe into the 8mm carb'd pipe and used clamping clips to hold it
