Ive got one of these linky exhausts and am wondering about the edges of the can, do i need to put somehting on them for the radius for IVA?

I had one of those fitted to my car at SVA and bonded some rubber edge trim to the front and back edges.

Mine passed SVA with one I used some edging which was still on 4 years later . Not sure about IVA though
