hi all, just wondering if it is possible to pass the SVA field of view requirements with flat wing mirrors? i seen a nice pair on ebay but im not sure if the will have the right viewing area covered.

failing that, how cheap are cheap compliant ones?!

thanks in advance.

Hi Joel - our mirrors are flat as they are off a 'bike. CBR600 IIRC long version.

We got some newies for £37 from MT Motorcycles in Doncaster.

I used fireblade mirrors from Martin (MK), they are slightly convex, passed no prob.
You do need to mount your mirrors high enough to see over the rear arches.

Joel, you can have the ones I bought to pass SVA with (the carbon ones were too sharp!). Cost me £20 +p+p, you can have them for £15 incl P+P, I even have the boxes for them. They are nice long stemmed bike ones, single hole fitment (easily covered by smarter ones later), then just sell them on.
