Hi all,
My thread, on the PPC forum, about the mini Se7en, I saw in Harrods, has got me thinking.
I quite like the idea of building a road legal tot rod, using the mini Cobra body, that's on eBay, but I was wondering, do I need to have
suspension to pass the IVA?
Or, at the least, can I get away with just front, or rear suspension only, like a hardtail chopper?
Does anyone know?
Cheers Frank.

Thanks Nick, I knew I could count on your input!!
As far as I know the only vehicles exempt from suspension are agricultural ones,.. so you probably need suspension of some description.
In fact you'd probably want it with the state of our roads

A road legal Tot Rod
Well for a start the head lights would be to low as would the seat belt mounts.
I don't think it would be possible to pass one without making it look very weired.
I'd also not want a tot of mine rodding on our public roads....even if they were able to take to the roads with out a license of some sort....?
Thanks for the replies, I think I'm going to look into this some more.
I just like the idea of having a tot rod, that you could have a cruise down the road in, it would never be used on the road properly, but it would be
fun if it was road legal.

Franks having one for each foot....
I was going to let little Frank borrow my license, he's got the same name, he'll just have to add 28 years to his age!!!
