IVA Radius interior of glovebox??

I have a glove box with a door and I have a boot with a lockable lid. Will the IVA man put his ball of death inside?

I would suggest this points to the Glove box bing tested

Note 7: The “instrument panel” should be taken to be “The area to the front of the passenger compartment, bounded by the vehicle sides and extending from the upper edge of the forward facia panel (dash panel) down to the lowest edge of the panelling (including “dash panel”, “glove box” etc).

However, a 165mm sphere is quite large and cant imagine that going far in to any glove box.

As for the boot, I would assume its not tested as its not the interior and not the exterior, same as anything under the bonnet would not be tested.

Not sure how your meant to end up in the boot in a crash or the glove box, I'd say I it would be exempt but now you've mentioned it I'll expect to see it in the next IVA revision along with cold cigarette lighters so you don't burn yourself...in a crash
