Would I need an IVA test for my kit car (road registered since 1985) if I take my engine out of the front and put it in the rear?

Technically yes as the chassis would be significantly altered.

Thanks for the reply. Chassis would only need engine mounts welding on as the rear suspension is the same as the front. is that classed as significant?

I certainly wouldn't be putting it back through a IVA!
