Live axle brake pipe.

Hi,

What's the general concensus on attaching brake pipe to a live axle with the IVA in mind? Seen some old threads on welding tabs to rivet to but don't want to take it off again!

Would a rubber lined jubilee clip pass? Guessing cable ties are out.

My live axle has Steel strips attached to it (they look like Ford did it) and the brake pipe simply slides underneath and then the strip is bent over the pipe to hold it in place.

Yeah mine has a single one in the middle on the diff. I don't feel it's enough..

MGB is the same, one metal clip either side.

I used cable ties, used some 1" lengths of adhesive shrink tube on the brake pipe to prevent metal to metal and then cable tied to axle.
