After much grumbling about Amateur Declaration forms - the gents from Nottingham called me today!

I am ready to go and have 3 weeks to make sure i have'nt missed anything.

It's my 2nd time so i should be ok but it's still pretty nerve racking.

How long did it take to get the date through?

Im thinking of trying to book mine for then end of july.

Well I sent the originals off mid May - I would have had forms back on end May (Amateur Built Declaration).

So the process for Nottingham/Norwich should have taken 3 weeks - but actually took 5 (because the Amateur built decleration was lost in post).

When you submit your forms - ring them after 3-5 days to check they have sent the form out - then it will be well quick!

I got my date within 3 weeks of first applying. Another 3 weeks untill the test so 6 in all.

Well done Murray. when i got my date i had a right panick on. In the end no need, the bits they picked up were bits i would never had spotted. All easily fixed. Im now convinced that for first SVA you might as well relax and go for the ride!
