Help with Chassis Number (plate)

Hi Guys,

I don't have my SVA manual with me - and a bloke is doing my chassis number on a bit of polished ally.

Are there any minimum/maximum size restrictions etc?

Min. 4mm characters off the top of my head.

correct; that is the minimum size.

It's a good idea to have the number stamped on the chassis too. Some DVLA blokes don't like a seperate plate riveted on.
