yep it all went well cheers! took it for the mot yday too which it also passed, so hoping to get it inspected by the dvla this tuesday to get on the road properly b4 the wet roads are here to stay! not long now!

Ahhh! You don't need an MOT!

Now you'll have to have one every year.

Once SVA'd you don't need one for 3 years!

Have no fear, someone at DVLA who really knows what they are doing can get a refund sorted out and the computer updated to suit - the challenge is finding someone who knows what they are doing.

6 months after registration i tried to re-tax online. Couldnt as DVLA Swansea had registered it wrong (ie said it needed MOT). Really nice lady at local office sorted it out for me. I sent V5 to her with tax cheque and she posted a disc out as well.

whats the score with this mot/sva lark then? the guy who issued the mac also said ive got to get it mot'd next...

Also should i have given the dvla ALL my receipts for the build or just the purchase one from MK? They took the doner v5, receit for mk chassis etc, insurance cert, mot and mac.
