Anyone know if Aero Buckle 4 point harnesses are SVA friendly? plus what markings do they need? Someone told me that they need to be able to be done up with one hand? Can't see how bet there you go!
no, you need to be able to undo them with one hand in a single action. (I think)
Ie not press a button and turn the dial.
I'm sure someone else will put this into words better than me.
Edit: Above comments do not necessarily relate to the harness mentioned. Statutory rights are unaffected. Always read the small print.

my mate told me about the one hand thing as well, so his fitting an inertia reel then changing it after sva, but then ive seen loads of cars pass with Aero Buckle harnesses. the marking they should have is E2
my luke aeros have E4 marking
you don't have to be able to do them up with 1 hand do you??? just undo yes
If you can do them up with one hand......what can you do with a womens bra!!!!!!!!!!!
I think for proper type approval/homologation you need to be able to fasten your seatbelt with one hand but its not a requirement for sva.
in fact nitram, undoing womens bras are one of the only things i am an expert at. I have built up quite an array of tricks with the show stopper
being a 1 handed instantaneous undo through 2 layers of clothing
the misses let me practice on her-she thinks its quite funny, not so much when i undo her bra in the pub though
Hi,
we passed no problems at Nottingham with these turn release type Luke harnesses.
Only requirements they need to pass IIRC are that they need to be released in a single movement both under load and not under load (in our case a
single twist).

good, they are the one s i have
Never seen a push AND turn aero harness!!!! As far as I know they all just turn to release. I have 5 or 6 different makes in various vehicles and they all turn to release with one hand
