Hi, almost ready for SVA, F*****g mirror fell off, previous experience with double sided tape was a waste of time so question is, what can i use to stick the thing back with ? or will one of those rubber suction ones do the job for test purposes ?

Do you need a rear view mirror for sva?

i believe it is worded that you need one unless it would be ineffective (ie a van), and without one you need a nearside wing mirror.

Thanks for the offer desyboy, I've got the actual mirror its just that it fell off and I'm panicing cos I'm close to SVA, I might try one of those rubber suction types and see how good they are for general use, if it seems ok I'll leave it on for the time being.
thanks again

I suppose if it does the job its intended to do then i should be ok its just that i'm getting a bit stressed about things, maybe a little too much.

If you pop into your local garage, they will almost certainly have the proper pads that the mirrors are fixed with. Put mine on with one and I recon you would have to break the glass to get it of. hth Ray

Mate agreed with you chippy, said to try a main dealer, dont know why i didn't think of that, maybe its cos i'm a numpty, i think thats why i possibly misunderstood you desyboy, thought you were asking would i like one, like i said, i'm a numpty
thanks guys really appreciate the info
