was planning to go to dvla to register but noticed this on V55

28 Date from which licence is to run (date of registration)

so if I went to day, then I would have to have licence from now and not say 1 April 2007?

and will it be licenced today without having a bod come to inspect?

(when I spoke with DVAL about inspections they said they will decide so cannot say in advance?).

Thing is, I don't want license to run from today and not be able to drive until 2 weeks or more from now.

It'll run from the start of this month (March) so you'll lose a few days - but you can drive as soon as you get the disc and put it on your car.

and for some reason I missed the exit

so get to DVLA office, I dodn't realise there was a ticket system, by the time I had, someone pinched the ticket I should have got

handed over papers and the woman said that the will call me about an inpsection that I have to drive to

that will be at least 1 week away so half the tax month has been lost

and I am likely to get a Q plate

so I am £ 148 quid down with sweet FA to show for it

and I asked if I could have sent the papers to which she said yes

which was different to what the woman on the DVLA hotline said when I phoned

and the £ 1.50 for the parking

and the signs for toilets in the shopping cnetre are wrong, I was seerthing by then
