engine age and proof

I have a nissan engine from the early 80's and need proof of the age of the unit.

anyone know where Nissans head office is in the uk, i have tried the local main dealers who are as good as chocolate building bricks

head office is in sunderland but don't know the address

acording to nissan europe site sunderland became head office in 1996 or something like that

yep then devolved in 1999 after the alliance with renault NMGB is in rickmansworth. HQ for all enquries and sales info.

(shall we say I have inside knowledge )

not going to argue if you have inside info guess you can't believe all you read. but just found this

yep your right. NMUK in sunderland was made the HQ for manufacting and our R&D, and NMGB london office moved to rickmansworth for centralisation and streamlining of sales and enquiries HQ

You asked Jasper how he got his?

If you still have no luck.... some unscrupulous persons (and I'm sure no one here would do this!) might suggest a copy of the standard Ford letter with the relevent details (like Ford! ) changed might be good enough!
