Is interior panelling necessary?
John Bonnett - 12/4/07 at 12:18 PM

In common with many spaceframes, my Phoenix uses one inch square ERW which at the moment is exposed on the inside. Will SVA fail it because of the radius of the corners of the tube?

Thank you in advance

John

I had also worried about this one, but many many cars have passed without interior panelling, mine has none.

I had only the centre tunnel covered no probs

I've given it sdome thought and decided the best thing to do would be to cover it with a padded vinyl piece (stuck onto something simple like cardboard) and held in place with a bit of velcro strip - better safe than sorry and you can remove/replace it as many times as you like after SVA.

Thanks Chaps, one less thing to worry about.

most tube has a radius on it anyway

Mine was ok too - only the tunnel was covered
