I think if you go to the Rally Design website, they state whether SVA or FIA approved (I assume FIA will pass SVA as well as that's what I'll be fitting to both seats in my build)

The instruction leaflet for my new FIA-approved harness clearly states that they are not E-marked and therefore are not for road use. In spite of that, I know people have fitted them and passed the SVA.

The main 'problem' may be with the buckle release - the E-marked ones have the typical red push-button everyone knows and loves, whereas mine has a lever that must be turned. It's still very easy to operate and easy to comprehend, so I don't see an issue myself.

Trouble is, if there are any quibbles then the manufacturer's bottom line states that they're not suitable - hard to argue, even though they're probably superior to most road-going harnesses & seatbelts. The advantage with an E-mark is that they WILL pass, presuming that they are properly installed and in good condition.
