I'm sure these are ones you know of, but here goes anyway:

Fog light
Reflectors
Nut covers
Cat (or is it pre 95 engine?)
Rolled exhaust end
Steering column extension (collapsable/offset?)

I think that the front cycle wings would look better rotated backwards to leave the top surface level not angled forwards.

Otherwise very, very good

The inside flat part of them is parallel to the ground - you can only see the outer ridged bit.

The wings are from Fluke motorsport - the only ones that fit 13" really well - I mean - look at the clearance and fit in the top pic!

Tm - how di it run on blade carbs?

Oh, and come in it tomorrow and i'll be upset.

I thought the rear of the front mud guard must extend down to a minimum of the centre of the wheel while the front when viewed from above must cover the rim so you need to turn it or drive up a very steep hill !

Apart from that very tidy

Bollo*ks - can anyone confirm this from the manual?

Do you need to fit a grill to the nosecone.
We should get the ramps for the trailer in the morning.

Hi Pat not from the manual but i was told the same at Beverly sva

DIY Si - 1/8/07 at 09:34 PM

You'll be wanting a new end piece for your silencer. I had the normal Micron one on mine and it blistered the poo out of my rear arch. As for the front wings, I believe they do need to extend down to the middle of the wheel and far enough forward to cover the leading edge of the rim, NB not the tyre. Not too sure about width wise, as I can't remember if they need to cover the tyre or the rim.

It's in my version of the SVA manual, section 13-3-e

1; Above the horizontal plane passing through the axis of rotation must not project beyond the vehicle body plan form (other than in the case of tyres...)

So the rim has to be entirely hidden when seen from above. Which means you should be ok. However, it has, in the past, been taken as the wing has to extend down the rear half of the rim too, although it's not actually there in the rules.

Think I can sort that with some pre-fabbed ali plates that can be bonded on if required!

Pat...

DavidM - 1/8/07 at 10:10 PM

Only requirement in the manual is that it must cover the front and back of the rim when viewed on plan.
Anything else must be a Beverly interpretation as it ain't in the manual.
I asked this specific question at Nottingham SVA, having also been told this, and they said no requirement to be below centreline at back of wheel.
This has been discussed many times in previous threads on here.

Are the bonnet catches SVA "friendly"

Avoneer - 2/8/07 at 11:04 AM

Nope - looking for a cunning solution for those!

DarrenW - 2/8/07 at 12:51 PM

02GF74 posted a decent idea for the bonnet catches some time ago.

Will it need a bonnet
