hi all i seen somewon mentioning about putting rollpins somewere on the pedel setup for the sva test could somewon explain were and what for , a
diagram or pic would be good
many thanks ian
hmm never heard of that type before
Bias bar setups have to be locked ie roll p inned to prevent adjustment.
its specified in the SVA manual.
I wound mine up to near maximum front bias, the tester did all the tests then asked me to pin it...
This only applies if you're using a bias bar adjustable setup with two master cylinders. You have to permanently fix the position of the bias bar
for SVA - the easiest way usifng rollpin through the adjustment nuts and bias bar.
HTH
At Nottingham, when I took my car they were mandatory. I had put a split pin through the nut at one end and put a lock nut on the other end. But to no
avail, it has to be roll pins. I’d challenge anybody to remove a split pin and locknut whilst the car is moving!
The saving fact was the tester found a battery drill, I had the drills, and the HVG garage next to the test centre gave me the roll pins.
Oh and I'm pretty sure there is a pic on here somewhere

I didnt realise the bar had to be locked, a picture would help me out too.
