I'm considering building this car below but am not sure that it would pass the SVA, can anyone spot any issues?

I think the arrow on the front might fail the projections/radius requirement!

yes, quite a few. you will need brakes, seat belts, steering mechanism, mudguards and lights.

is there a section where you can apply for steam powered vehicles?

Might need a heat shield.

Emissions, don't think a cat will cope

I believe a steam powered vehicle is exempt from the SVA in fact... I was reading about a steam car in practical classics that was registered on a 05 plate with no reference to SVA...
