
Can anyone give a definitive answer... are these SVA ok?
PS - I'm talking about the splined one's!
Well mine passed 2 months ago @ edmonton, and it counted as an immobilser
The key section is the SVA manual is as follows:

Check each anti-theft device which incorporates a mechanical part that acts
upon a system used to control the vehicle (eg steering system)
i. cannot be activated while the engine is
running
ii. does not allow the engine to be started
before the device has been deactivated
iii. has an actuation, which is a distinct and
separate function from that of stopping the
engine.

So you if the tester is on the ball then you'll have to make sure that the wheel cannot be removed whilst the ignition is on.
