Morning all
I've read several threads where builders have taken photos to SVA of parts of the car no longer visible. I've just started sorting through
all mine and wondered what sort of ino the examiner might be interested in as to print them all would take an age.
Any idea much appreciated.
Also apart from donor V5 etc what other documentation did you take to SVA? would hate to get there an realise I'm missing something important.
Cheers
Nigel
spacing on the clamps on the fuel lines and brake lines inside the tunnel., mouting method of the harness. routing of the harness etc
I'd burn them onto CD/DVD and take along a laptop... If you really wanted to impress them take a long a copy just for them
In my experience if
you show willing they won't bother (ie in mine I had two bits of evidence re engine age, I proferred them both at the appropriate time and asked
which they wanted and they said they'd take my word!!)...
Keep your insurance docs and written confirmation of the SVA appointment with you if you are driving to the test. Are you taking it to Shrewsbury or
Chadderton??

Took my laptop along with all the pictures I took, although he didn't ask

Any welding that isn't obvious, ie seatbelt anchorage top and bottom, inside the tunnel. Also hoop supporting the steering column and inside the
pedal box if its enclosed.
My examiner looked at one set of pics and didn't bother with anything else. I think the 'show willing' comment from BenB is
accurate.
Remember your proof of engine age documentation.
Good luck
