Although not actually needed I have decided to put an LED brake light up in the top of the roll cage to make myself be seen better.

Fit it after SVA. You don't need it for SVA and it's only something for them to say isn't E-marked etc etc. Don't forget that if it's not necessary for SVA they can still fail you for it if the part you've fitted doesn't fit the specifications!!!!

And if you do fit it to the roll-bar it's best to do so without drilling into the roll-bar. Amazing how too little holes will reduce the rigidity of the RB.

Yep - cable ties, hose clips and self amalgamating tape to cover it up nicely are your friend (and will make sure your roll bar remains your friend too!)
