hi all i fitting my mirrors and only have the draft copy of teh sva manual and missing some bits of the mirror's section and wonderning what it is? if i need to do something special?

Yes.. There is a grid of lines on the floor at the SVA centre. You have to be able to see all the lines on the floor.
I failed on this.
I had a great view to the rear.
However the line from my eye to the mirror to the nearest line, passed through the rear mudguards. ie mirrors about 25mm too low.
Simple to fix but was a fail point.

I just took a tape measure and laid a broom out on the road (back home) at the apropiate points and re-fixed the mirrors from there.

Its not hard, but getting it wrong left me with holes in the side of the car (on each side)
