Woo Hoo
Found insurance for the car transporter!! 3 days cover for £45.
So I plan to load up on the Sunday afternoon put a car cover on it and then off I go.
Or if the weather is good I can drive and my mate can drive the transporter, at least this way I get the best of both worlds.
Cheers for all the help and the kind offers of assistance with trailers etc.
Nigel
Good Luck!
well done, good luck
Good luck. But do be careful with the cover. I trailed mine to SVA in a monsoon and did more damage with the cover and the bungees than flooding it would have done. Lots of scratches on the bare ali and the painted plastic bits.
cheers for the warning
can we expect a post on monday where you say you woke up, left house and found the car no longer on the transporter?
make sure you chain and lock it down!!
good luck with SVA.
and let us all know who you used for the insurance cover, so we can use them.
Good Luck Nigel
Out of interest, how come you're not driving to/from the SVA?
Excellent opportunity to get some road miles in and, if you leave early enough, have a little shake down blat
SVA not until the 20th just sorting everything out to avoid a panic next weekend.
insurance for car transporter was through www.shortmotor.com
If it's not lashing down with rain the car is being driven with the transporter as back up just in case I get an examiner with a case of the
Monday morning grumps.
As for leaving the car loaded overnight, I can't see me getting much sleep due to excitement/fear so may get my head down early then give the
playstation a good session and that way can keep an eye on the car
I'll let you know how it all goes, fingers crossed eh
Good luck dude!
