Starting to get the last minutes jobs done ready for SVA. The car has been in the garage for a long time and I am the only visitor, apart from my wife
and son on the odd occassion. My question is will it be very shy when it comes out for the first time. Do you think I should introduce it to more and
more visitors to build up it's confidence or maybe I could show it a video of other cars on the road on my lap top. Or am I being a bit too
sensitive and will it take the first day on the road in it's stride. What do you think, or have I just lost the plot?
Barry

I have a feeling you never saw the plot to start with
.
Just take for a damn good thrashing, then it'll expect it every time.
ATB Dan.
you are not far from the cliffs, why not thrash it off one and see if it can fly too
It will be much less shy than you think. My advice is to keep it on a tight leash when near other road cars, in case it tries to eat them.... !
You've built a lion not an antelope
All the best with the SVA,
Ali
See bottom line...
I agree, get it out there and teach it a lesson.. shouting 'I'll f€/*ing teach ya for all that grief!'
...but once you do have it road legal ensure that frontal lobe dominates control of right foot for a good few months - don't leave it to the smaller brain that lives in your pants or you'll find a ditch quickly a several on here (self included) have experienced...
Better remember that for when mine's done, if it comes back with half a tree in it I won't be allowed back out!
