so what do i need to be able to turn on or off lights wise for the sva test. can all my lights be powered all the time, like the side lights? do i need headlight flash, or just switch from main to dipped?

Sidelights, main and dipped all independent as the Sierra switches do. Not using the oem gear??

are you allowed to have an on-off-on switch for dipped and main beam? of course needing to go past off to switch between dipped and main (but safer than off-on-on, where you risk switching off altogether)

Presumably you could have side lights running all the time- otherwise volvos would fail SVA

I think the sva manual says that dip/main beam must both be on when you put your main beam switch on.

I thought dipped had to switch off when you put main beam on. They come on again when you flash.
