When you say "clips" are they the quick release type? I don't think they're SVA ok. For the bolt type you can usually pick up a plastic cover from a tin top.

The Westfield we just SVA's had their clip on shoulder straps. Westfield supply triangular pouches to slide over the clips. Cut a slot in the underside of the material for the eye bolt to allow it to clip on. However SVa man could still feel sharp edges so we added some rubber utrim and sticky backed foam onto the clip. Has fallen off now!

yea i have a 75mm bar sticking out chassis with a eyebolt on and quick release willans harnesses on them. rather have the westfield items than make some if i can.

Theres nothing to them honestly. Two triangular bits of leatherette material stitched into a pocket. We were a bit disappointed when we got them. Plus you may need to fill them with some padding. To clarify they only cover the harness clips not all of the eye bolt support tube/bar if that what you are concerned about.

I have quick release ends on my Sabelt harneses and they passed fine when SVA'd a few weeks ago, I just fitted some u trim around the edges just in case.

The VOSA examiner told me that the area between the rear of the seats and the roll bar was exempt from the minimum radius rule & there was no problem with them being the quick release type.
