only required standards to change are protective steering, and headlights.
additionally there are changes to method of testing for
electrical safety sections 69 &N69
and braking section N06

looking into if further, there is a significant change for electric vehicles, that they can now either meet
un reg 100
or the american fmvss 305 [except for lead acid traction batteries]
