SVA Emissions ????
Hi going for sva at last
normally all the cars i have doen before have been pre cat engines so no major issues,
this is a 1997 engine though so
can someone confirm the emissions for a cat test on a 1997 engine for sva,
i think im wright in saying all engines after 1995 require a cat???
thanks just need to play around to get as close as poss before sva,

0.3% co at 3000rpm
less than 200 ppm HC
lambda 0.97 to 1.03
0.5% co at idle
less than 200 ppm HC.
It may be initally tested at 0.2 at 3000rpm
and 0.3 at idle
A pint for the gent and a white wine/fruit based drink for the lady. Those are the rules

I think strictly speaking a cat is not mandatory, but in practice you will not be able to pass the emissions standards without one
