Get one of those camping spark generator things and check the earth continuity of the inside of the fuel tank

I had the same problem on my indy zx9r. Tried everything but still no spark. In the end i ordered another CDI plugged it in a brummm It fire up straight away. Its an expensive chance to take so make sure everything else is right.

Not into BEC's so maybe wide of the mark, but if you have 12volts at the coils how are they ignited? CDI? if so what tells the CDI to tell the coils, is there a flywheel sensor?
