SVA passed in N. Ireland!
She passed! The Manager of Newtownards test station (still on strike) arranged to have an SVA qualified tester in Cookstown finish off the re-test.
Fair play to him - without his help I would have been stranded! The Cookstown guy rang me today and asked if I could make it down for 4pm. I nearly
bit his hand off - I was there for 3pm!
She passed the emmisions and the seat belt positioning. The Cookstown tester was absolutely dead-on - a total contrast to the ignorant git (currently
on strike) in Newtownards.
I swear I almost cried when he told me she passed!
Word for Spunky - stick at it mate, and don't let the b*st*rds grind you down!

I hear you Ali.
Well done on the pass.
I've got some enthusiasm back after Sunday. I've witnessed how entertaining it would be to blast round with Timcrasher...
Also spoke to Martin from Kit Car workshop who will will re-map the engine to pass emissions if struggle again .
Once again, congratulations and enjoy.

Lads, I'm still grinning like an idiot!!!!
The test is only carried out in Newtownards so I couldn't go to Cookstown even if I wanted (the tester only did it as a favour to the newtonards
manager apparently!). Cookstown is about 15 miles away - Newtonwards is about 50 miles away.
Just waiting on the postman now!
Thanks
Ali

Well done,
The only test I will be going through though is an MSA inspection.

Thanks John. I was sorry to hear about the car you built being hit.
Just as a final note, today I got her registered and taxed and, after fitting the plates, took her for her first 'legal' run on the
road.
God she's quick
Here's to more of this!
Thanks to you all again,
Ali
