couple of exhaust questions
Firstly, As i understand, with a side exit exhaust the tail pipe must be rolled.
But the problem is i can't find anywhere that sells a 90D tailpipe that is rolled.
This is the best i can find:
Universal Curled Down Exhaust Tail Pipe Trim 64mm 2.5' | eBay
would this be fine, if i pointed it downwards rather than sideways?
or does anyone have anyother recomendations?
also, ive currently got a 6"x18" can, which is quite quiet at idle, but once its got some revs, its really loud!
but as there is no room for a tail pipe, and its pretty much touching the side panel im going to have to fit a smaller one.
so is a 5"x14" or might be able to stretch to 16" but is going to be way too loud for iva?
or will it not make too much difference?
so anyone any advice on this? engine is a 08R1. And its 2.5" pipework.
cheers

ahh great idea, i was also thinking of using some touch U trim, as the actual tail pipe doesn't get that hot.
as for the silencer, ive just ordered one of these:
Stainless Repackable Exhaust Silencer 12' Case 2.5' In | eBay
and completly pack it with some of this:
ACOUSTAFIL PTX SILENCER PACKING 600mm Wide x 1 Metre | eBay
And then if its still too loud, i will insert one of these up it, before the tailpipe:
BAFFLE DB KILLER TO SUIT 2.5' 60mm STRAIGHT EXHAUST CAN | eBay
and hopefully that should do the job, im not too worried about loosing a bit of power at the moment.
