iva and harness route

I have got a pair of triton seats to fit in my MK which have holes in for the harness. If the seats are mounted on the floor the harness holes line up perfectly with the top mounts (pic 1) but you can hardly see above the aeroscreen. My problem is if i mount the seat where i want it the harness will have to go up from the top mounts to pass through the holes like in pic 2. I know this isn't ideal but would it pass the IVA like this?

Short answer... No!

Harness has to be mounted so the belt doesn't slope upward to the holes in the seat. Otherwise the seat is regarded as structural and won't pass. Long bolts with spacers under the belt end to raise them will pass. ...and yes that puts huge bending force on the mounting if the worst happens, but it will pass.

I can't raise the mounts anymore due to the roll bar being in the way. The holes in the seat seem too low as th
e belt still has to go up over my shoulders.
