Hi All. Has anyone had a car pass with or fail because of self assembly braided brake hoses.

My car passed SVA in 2006 with self assembled braided hoses. I took photos of the parts used in case the tester wanted to see them.

My car passed SVA in April 2009 with self assembled hoses. Again I took parts with me to prove that they were suitable. In particular they had to have an inner supporting ferrule to prevent the hose from collapse. They were Euroquip parts from Rally Design and were VERY carefully assembled.

SVA Leighton Buzzard. Braided throughout (no hard lines), no problem.
I took along a spare one showing inner ferrule, but not asked for.
