Donor Tax

Well surprise, surprise.

Got a notification through the door today telling me I need to tax my donor car.

They told me, when I registed the kitcar that they would handle the scrapping of the donor vehicle, but as usual they haven't.

Oh well guess I'll have to write another letter to the DVLA to sort this mess out.

to say that would be annoying would be a grave understatement.....

Ditto

The same thing happened to me this morning too. I got a tax reminder through for my donor car which I scrapped last May. The DVLA office at Birmingham handled all my paperwork side of registering my car using the donor year plate for me. Why do they keep getting this wrong? I even gave them the logbook to my donor to make things easier.

fined!!!

I was sent a fine through for not registering it as SORN - well what was the SORN part I sent off of the logbook for then???
I have written in, but hate these things, as they have offered me a reduced fine of £40 (instead of £80) until 03,03,07.
I just hope it goes away, as I genuinely thought I'd done everything correct!

Same issues here too. Online donor sorn didnt work, luckily i got away with doing it second time around.
Registered Kit last December but still got sorn reminder for Donor about 3 months ago!!!

Also had the Kit registered wrong as it wasnt down for no MOT for 3 years. Local office sent it off for me again so hopefully OK now.
