horn push button, indicator lights

hi is it ok to have a horn pushbutton on the dashboard for sva if so does it have to have the correct radius etc.

i also want to mount some flush fitting indicators on top of my swept back front wings is this going to be ok are these going to be ok for the sva they are not e marked

Just make sure you use 21 watt bulbs in the indicators - those often come with 10 watt or less.

I used those lights - or ones like them - from Mac#1 and they passed SVA. They didn't have E markings, but I did check the bulbs to check they were OK.

Put the horn push in the exempt area beside the steering wheel and it will be easier to reach and not tested for radius.

found the info on the lights most of them come with 23watt bulbs is that ok

Need to watch the radius of the screw holes on those lights. I'm sure I've read of people who've had to fill them with a little clear silicone as the tester got sniffy.

23W bulbs should be fine.

In theory (not suggesting you test this) you don't need a horn for SVA as it's not a tested item. If you haven't got a horn you won't need a horn push.

thanks think i will put a horn in anyway saves any problems, think i will go for those lights and have a look at radius then sort out problems for sva
