Arrgghhhhhh Notts VRO!!!!!!!!!
OOOhhh great,
just found out (after braving the utterly shite dvla callcentre twice, even though I have a driect number for Notts VRO, it no longer works!! ) that
Dave Richards, the man who did the kit car stuff there, has left, and so has his replacement, new chap starts on monday, doesn't know the job,
can't give me a date for inspection, or say whether it can be at home or at the vro????????????/
arrgghhhhhh
sva tomorrow and I was supposed to be going for dvla inspection on the way home
can I use another VRO local office, and where is the next nearest one to Hinckley??????

Probably Birmingham, or maybe Liecester.
I used Brum to register mine. Or do you want a built up inspection?
Steve.

ok, the useless dvla tossers won't take an application to any other than notts from me, despite having no staff to deal with it.
why do my wages pay for these utterly crap organisations???????
Apparently I have to submit the application anyway, and they will deal with it, though I think this will mean they wipe their arses on it, followed by
getting confused, then confusing me, followed by pissing me around for months, then totally fcuking the job up
you may have guessed, I'm not entirely happy

Def not a happy Bunny.
But try not to vent any anger on them.
They really will screw you around then.
Try and get to talk to someone ther and give them a sob story about something.
All the best.
Steve.

When I built mine Sheffield were moving office so they never bothered with the inspection, they sent everything back completed in 3 days.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Good plan Rupert and Pete!!
Will give them a call on Monday (via callback via Swansea again ) and have a chat to the chappie (if I pass SVA that is????? eek! )
calmed down a lot now!
Work is far too busy at the mo, we have just become self financing (split from a major international conglomerate), and a major competitor has just
gone bankrupt, so we are taking on business when we can scarcely afford to buy the tooling to make the stuff, so its all hands to the pumps and we are
building machine cells, manufacturing injection moulding tools etc etc etc etc etc etc on a 2p budget and ridiculous deadlines, like start of
production with a major car manufacturer imminent and we don't even know how we are making some of the parts yet..........
then I get to deal with the swansea beurocrats, really does my head in when I only have 5 mins to spare and spend it on hold listening to crap music!!

There was a different guy that did my inspection at Notts dvla as Dave Richards was on holiday. I've had a look and can't find his name
though unfortunately.
I'd be tempted to drop in the paperwork and see if they can do it as its only just down the road from the sva centre.
