Richard Miles CAT in R1 exhaust...?

Hey,

I have very restricted room between the back of my manifold and the nearside rear wheel arch. Richard Miles seemed to be able to fit a certain type of CAT (quite thin I would have thought!?) inside the R1 exhaust, by cutting out the small one already in the can for use on the motorcycle and the inserting a larger more effective one.

Anyone have any idea how this was done or any imaginative ideas around this problem?

Maybe I can cut my manifold slightly and then fit a link pipe post SVA, but I'd prefer not to hack my manifold around...

Any help'd be much appreciated.

Chris.
