Seat Belt bolts
I know this has been covered a number of times before but does the 5/16 UNF nut have to be welded to the chassis even if it can be accessed? Plus is
there a problem putting the nut inside rather that out. I am struggling for clearance to the fuel lines if I stick the nut the tunnel side?
So is a nyloc nut not welded to the chassis
fitted on the inside o.k.?
I must get me an SVA manual trouble is I don't thinnk I'll have the time to work out what it means!

If the Velocity is the same as the Luego Locost it has small triangular fillets welded to the chassis at the seat belt mounting points. What I did
with mine was to make some plates 3mm thick that fitted in the tunnel and drilled a 7/16" clearance hole through the fillets and the plate ,
then welded nuts to the plates. Made them easier to fit than nylocks

I can get to the plates no problem but just wanted to make it easy...If nylocs are o.k. then I would prefer to go this way!
Thanks

If the nut is not captive then i think you have to be able to access both the nut and the bolt-head from the driver's seat
