SVA Postponement continued

I've just had a call from the man at the Rolling Road to tell me that as he sat in the car and cranked the engine, the bonnet slammed shut caught his pc cable that was connected to the ecu and this snapped the comms plug off the printed circuit board on the ecu. The ecu now has to go back to GEMS once more.

Oh deep joy!!!

I'm not really downhearted, you just have to laugh at these things. Don't you?

John

Oh dear!

One of those days when you should have cancelled everything and stayed in bed.....

Don't you just hate those days when, no matter how hard you try, no matter what you do.....nothing else is playing along.....

Commiserations to you......

And well done for keeping ya chin up....

I have a feeling that you wont forget this lead-up to your SVA in a hurry.....but you could probably dine out for weeks on the story

Thank you Fozzie, for your kind and sympathetic words. There is always somebody with more problems than I have. I've got a friend who was terribly ill and he had to have a heart transplant. He pulled through, just. One day some years after the transplant he called round and I said "It's a lovely day". His reply "Every day's a good day mate". And so it is.

Best wishes

John
