I nearly failed mine because the word "Fuel" was against the chassis rail. It was only that I saw him write it down that I twisted the hose round and showed him that he crossed it out.

Deffinately have to be correctly marked and visible on all hoses!

Is the regulation to have have marked fuel lines, or is it to ensure that the lines are fuel spec?
if the former surely a water proof sticker/label maker would surfice?

Not quite the same but I got unmarked fuel filler hose from CBS.They gave me letter to state compliance. They would probably give you letter for your hose too

I got the 1 3/4" fuel filler hose from CBS and got no letter either. I did ask them. Was thinking of just printing the advert page off and taking that along with a cut off of the rest then SVA can examine it that way.

i got caught out too
the writing was in german and although i could understand it and it was obvious to decipher it didnt pass.
i got new stuff and also took the old stuff along too.
gillingham said that as i got it off ebay then the printed description of "fuel hose" would have been enough.
if it aint marked then expect to fail is the motto here.
besides do you want it splitting and ending up like johneturbo (not sure if that was cause of his fire)
