Has anyone actually passed the SVA with these headlights?

From Car Builder Solutions?

4 inch headlights

I've heard the can be modded to pass but I need to be sure before I get some

Cheers

Chris

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

the flat beam pattern might be a prob, my bike has this (they may actually be bike lights), there is no kick up on the left side of the pattern as per car lights, doubt they'd pass

It says may not pass SVA, I'd recon thats a get out for 'will not pass', and £45 a peice for carbon effect I'd look elsewhere.

these are the same lights I did on a group buy recently at £45 a pair, rather than £45 ea, I can't get the carbonlook ones tho'.

Re the SVA, Dan_Wright passed SVA with the mod done, & they told him they would have passed without the mod anyway!!! Unfortunately you will always have the situation that what passes at one station won't necessarily pass at another.

Take a look at the previous posts below:-

should give you all the gen. if there is anything else you want to know just drop me a u2u or email.

I do sell the black ones & chrome ones on Ebay, but can't do group buy rates on them for one offs, but they are still only a little over £60 inc P & P

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Was a place in swansea called M&P who did bike stuff but sure they changed their name?
Well they did or do those lights advertised as "Streetfighter lights"....sure they were cheaper than the likes of CBS too.
They had black and chrome ones if i remember.

Can you get a day time only SVA like the day time mot?
