SVA date?
How long have people waited to get an SVA date?
I applied just before the deadline and had heard nothing from VOSA so I called them today and they assured me that my application was at Swansea and
progressing. I know they have probably been inundated with applications trying to beat the deadline but a number of posts I have seen on here suggest
that some people have had a fairly quick response.
My concern is that if something is wrong with my application I may have to re-apply for IVA

I had the same issue - just keep in touch with them and track which department your application is with.
You might find (as I did) that your application is sitting at the VOSA testing centre where your SVA will be waiting for them to book a date.
I'd asked for 20 March and booked a day off work - last friday I rang to find out as I needed to confirm the date. As it turned out, the woman
who books dates at Beverley is just plain lazy and hadn't even been @rsed to book things into the diary until last minute - result is I now have
an appointment for 30 March instead.
I found that the initial deprtments I got to speak to at VOSA Swansea were pleasent to deal with and helped me out, but the further you get into
things the more  things get!

same as. i heard nothing from vosa but my cheque had been cashed over 3 weeks ago.i rang them and they said its been processed and is at sva centre.
when i rang them they had booked me in this friday and not even told me. my car is not ready so i put it back to april 2nd. give them a call asap!

took about 2 weeks from posting to Notts test centre contacting me.
The latest they could do so had to do some chasing around and got into birmingham for 23rd April got letter confirming date about a week later
