Help no v5
Hi I bought a part built kit in 09 and didn't think about needing the v5 for the donor vehicle
Now I'm starting to worry as I'm getting close to the Iva.
Please help

Dont need a v5 for the donor unless your looking to get an age related plate

Aye, the man speaks the truth! You'll end up with a Q plate. Not really the issue it was some years ago. Worry not.
Luego Locost C20XE.
Build start: October 6th 2008.
IVA passed Jan 28th 2011.
First drive Feb 10th 2011.
First show: Stoneleigh 1st/2nd May 2011.
'Used up' first engine may 3rd 2011!
Back on the road with 2nd engine may 24th
First PASA mad drive 26/7/11
Sold to Mike in Methyr Tydvil 19/03/14

Alternatively, get inventive with your printer and some receipts and get a 'new' registration.

Great that's a lot taken off my mind
So all I need to do is prove the engine age and have some recipts to get it on the road Oh and get it through the test as well 
No donor vin num, num plate or v5c needed

I think he is having a bit of a jest. He means if you make your own receipts for all new parts - eg chassis, bodywork, axles, brakes, engine, diff,
fuel tank, etc etc, you could get yourself a 'new' (ie 61) registration. Depends how good you are with a PC. The system is open to all
sorts of abuse.
