Hi Ben

Good luck with your SVA tomorrow.

Don't forget if you need anything in a hurry tomorrow, I'm only 20 mins from the centre.

Been a nervous day rushing all the last bits....

Not sure its "self centering" tho

Nothing i can do about it now.. it might scrape through tho.

SVA FAIL

Lots of minor things, nothing major.

No self centring, but i think i can sort that.

Speedo was ok at low speeds but well out at higher speeds ... piece of crap

Awww Ben

Well at least it was nothing major, and easy fixes.....when's the re-test?

What did he have to say about the airfilter?..or did you 'mod' before the test?

Chin up! from what you have said, sounds like a 'good' fail to me!

Oh and he was very picky. Taking 4 hours to do test.

3/4 hour of that was under the car on the ramp

He's expecting some top supervisor round at some point this month so NOTHING was ignored

I just meshed over the carb, took the filter off completely

I had that with mine......but mine was training someone and it was his 'test' piece, so in effect mine was done twice, with the examiner spending lots of time with the 'trainee' explaining the 'whys and wherefores' of everything!

The good thing is, that you can be assured that with a thorough test like that, the build is a good'un!
