Seat Belts
Mornin' all.
Can anyone tell me if there is any requirement on seat belt/harness fastenings for the SVA/IVA?
I seem to recall seeing somewhere that they do not like the rotary release catches.
Any info would be helpful.
thanks.

yup, the aircraft style buckles are a no-no - they need to be the push button clips, and I think, E-marked.

Not true gents, rotory is fine as long as the clasp can be released with one hand, and in one motion.
I have LUKE harnesses and these comply.
As far as I know though LUKE harnesses are the only rotory clasps that are acceptable. Maybe other people might be able to confirm that bit though.

I was looking at sparco, because the leg straps pull up to tighten rather than down - there's not much room in a 7, so tightening them can be
awkward if you have to pull them down rather than up....
